CONTEXT

A modular platform engineered for versatility, adaptability and off-grid performance.

The Toro Bravo 4x4 platform bridges rugged functionality with livable comfort—redefining the modern expedition vehicle.

Key Insights

Durability and adaptability drove every design decision.
User research revealed a need for reconfigurable interiors, off-road durability, and weather-resistant construction. Traditional RV builds fail under these conditions due to moisture absorption and structural fatigue.

application

Digital twins and LFAM components unified visual intent with engineering precision.
Led design from concept through production, developing high-fidelity digital twins for simulation and stakeholder alignment. Integrated LFAM components were optimized for deposition strategy, weight reduction, and thermal stability. Iterative visualization informed structural refinement and manufacturability.

impact

An adaptive vehicle architecture built for evolving user needs.
The final system achieved a balance of comfort, performance, and manufacturability. Its modular subassemblies simplify production while enabling limitless future customization.

learnings + next steps

Scalable modularity in manufacturing ensures long-term platform evolution.
Field testing identified two viable habitat variants—compact and high-volume—tailored for different terrain and payload requirements.
