Context

This app democratizes Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy, making non-invasive care accessible like never before.

Key Insights

The app’s ability to eliminate the need for dedicated PEMF devices makes it a game-changer for accessibility. However, usability testing revealed that critical interactions didn’t scale well across display preferences.

The app unintentionally alienates users with varied abilities and visual impairments—key demographics for the product.

application

Guided by these findings, I restructured the app’s organization and introduced new experience flows to enhance usability. The design is simple, accessible, and empowering.

Visual hierarchy was established and confidence-building interactions were added.

Impact

The design is now in the implementation phase, with development underway for cross-platform compatibility.

Focus group testing has shown increased user acceptance rates, particularly among previously excluded demographics.
